GLORY TO GOD IN THE HIGHEST!
Merry Christmas! It’s such a beautiful time of the year with all the colorful lights, cheerful decorations, delicious foods and precious memories made with those we love. Most precious of all, celebrating the birth of our Lord and Savior, JESUS! We remember how He came to this earth to deliver us from sin so we could have eternal life. Hallelujah! If God never did another thing for us, we should forever be thankful! But especially this time of year, there are many that are down and discouraged because they are focusing on the things they don’t have. When we choose to focus on what we do have, the result is a heart full of gratitude and joy.
“As Jesus continued on toward Jerusalem, he reached the border between Galilee and Samaria. As he entered a village there, ten men with leprosy stood at a distance, crying out, “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!” He looked at them and said, “Go show yourselves to the priests.” And as they went, they were cleansed of their leprosy. One of them, when he saw that he was healed, came back to Jesus, shouting, “Praise God!” He fell to the ground at Jesus’ feet, thanking him for what he had done. This man was a Samaritan. Jesus asked, “Didn’t I heal ten men? Where are the other nine? Has no one returned to give glory to God except this foreigner?” Luke 17:11-18
In the passage above, it required faith for these lepers to start walking to show themselves to the priests before they saw the leprosy healed. So as they went in child-like obedience to Jesus’ instructions, their miracle manifested and they were completely healed! But only one returned to thank Jesus for what He had done. It was a Samaritan. He didn’t understand covenant with God (His Word) but he had a grateful heart. Jesus said when he returned to give thanks, he gave glory to God. Please understand that in order for our lives to glorify God, we must be thankful. Remember, there is no gray area. WE ARE EITHER THANKFUL OR UNTHANKFUL! Being thankful requires us to first acknowledge the goodness, kindness, mercy, grace and patience of God. We understand there’s NO WAY we could get our breakthrough without Him. James 4:6 says that “God gives grace to the humble.” If we want more grace, we must ACKNOWLEDGE His help and EXPRESS our gratitude. Its pride when we don’t acknowledge the Lord did it with thinking such as, “We worked so hard, we were so smart, we did the right thing or we know how to pray…” NO, HE DID IT ALL!
A humble heart is a thankful heart. When others compliment us, Christi and I have added this phrase to our vocabulary, “The Lord helped us.” We don’t want to give credit to our prayers or our faith. We know we’re not the ones who did it. The Lord did it and He gets all the credit! This holiday season, let’s make the quality decision together to give God more glory than ever before by humbling ourselves before Him and choosing to have a thankful heart. We choose to boldly express our gratitude to the Lord knowing that a hurting world around us needs to hear how good He is!

MERRY CHRISTMAS, WE LOVE YOU!
Mylon and Christi
What a wonderful time of year! This holiday month is one of our favorites. Of course, we really enjoy a delicious turkey & dressing, mashed potatoes & gravy, and pumpkin pie meal, HA! But our true joy comes as we are reminded of all the good things God has done for us throughout the year. As you may already know, being thankful is an attitude that we as Christians should have every day of our lives! The Word explains that it is THE key to living in constant victory:
Please notice that PRAISE PRECEDES THE VICTORY! Praising God before we see the answer to our prayer is FAITH! Faith is what pleases the Lord and it is how we access GRACE. All 7000 “exceedingly great and precious” promises of God are given “By grace” and received “through faith…” I Corinthians 10:30 says, “For if I by grace be a partaker…for that for which I give thanks?” When we give thanks, we partake of Grace. Grace is defined as “underserved favor.” But if I think I deserve it, then Grace is out of the picture and I have become unthankful. Please understand this life-changing truth: WE CAN’T BE THANKFUL FOR SOMETHING WE THINK WE DESERVE OR WE BELIEVE WE HAVE EARNED. That’s the definition of works. Every good thing in our life is all because of our faithful Heavenly Father Who “transferred us out of the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of the Son of His Love.” We did not earn The Blessing and we definitely don’t deserve it. My goodness, we don’t want what we deserve because God said: “ALL have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” But King Jesus paid the price for our sin so that we could be reconciled to the Father, Glory to God, that’s grace!
We have been watching an anointed teaching from Keith Moore on this subject, titled THANKSGIVING VICTORY. (You can go online at www.moorelife.org and download the teaching for free!)
He said the Lord asked him one day, “Would you like to increase your capacity to receive from Me?” When Brother Moore said, “Yes, Sir!” The Lord said to him, “Cultivate a lifestyle of thanksgiving.” Lifestyle means at all times, we choose to be thankful. We are either THANKFUL or UNTHANKFUL. There is no middle ground! For example, when we feel sorry for ourselves, we’re not being thankful. We need to follow the example of Abraham. After waiting many years for the fulfillment of God’s promise to him concerning his son Isaac being born, Romans 4:20 says, “No unbelief or distrust made him waver (doubting and questioning) concerning the promise of God, but he grew strong and was empowered by faith as he gave praise and glory to God…” He stayed thankful even when it looked impossible. His son Isaac was born when he was 100 years old! It’s never too late for God to do the impossible in our lives!
We’d love the opportunity to praise God with you at one of our local ministry events. Please check our itinerary at www.mylon.org to see when we will be in your area. Don’t forget that all of our anointed teaching and music CD’s are also available on our site to keep your faith strong in the midst of negative reports. As you can see from the daily news, now, more than ever we need to be sharing the good news of the Gospel with those who desperately need to hear that Jesus loves them. We need your help. As you sow your generous seed this month, you help us share His love. Romans 10:14-15 says, “But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him? And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him? And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them? And how will anyone go and tell them without being sent? Thank you for sending us. Your agreement is one of the gifts from God that we are most thankful for!
Praising God for you!
We Love you,
Mylon & Christi
P.S. Please be encouraged that through your generous prayer and financial support, together we believe we will see more people saved, healed and set free through the teaching of the Word than ever before in the history of this ministry! Please believe with Christi and me for OPEN DOORS!
