January Love E-Letter 2020

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Dear Partner,

Praise the Lord, we want to begin this new year with praise and thanksgiving for the good God we serve! We continue to be amazed at His goodness. At the start of a new year, we want to build your faith for the upcoming year by sharing with you how your faith filled prayers and generous giving have already impacted the world for Jesus! One of our great joys is to receive your testimonies. III John 1:4 says, “I have no greater JOY than to hear that you walk in truth.” THANK YOU TEAM MYLON- You made this happen! These testimonies come in through our website or social media sites. Here’s what The Lord is doing through On The Road To Freedom:

RESTORATION

“Saw you this morning and you were speaking on restoration; just what I needed to hear. Yesterday I cleaned out all my old court documents from my divorce. I was feeling stolen from in every way. I prayed with you for complete restoration of all things stolen.” Sylvia, Website

FREE FROM FEAR

“I listened to your message and understood faith better. I prayed with you against the spirit of fear, something that I had all my life, 66 years old and retired Border Patrol Agent. Today I’m free from that spirit. Better late than never.” Anonymous, Website

LIFTS US UP

“My husband and I watch On The Road To Freedom daily, even previous episodes we have already seen and SHARE on social media for others. The message is ALWAYS what we need to hear, lifts us up and revives us spiritually to battle the day-to-day issues that may come our way. You have both helped us more than you can imagine! Thank you!” Taylor, TN, Instagram

KNOWING GOD’S LOVE

“I was listening to the broadcast and took it to heart especially Proverbs 19:20 J I can truly say I’m in a much better Christ loving/leading place. I felt such an overwhelming outpouring of LOVE from GOD through you guys! I had been asking to know HIM and HIS LOVE for me because for years I looked for love in all the wrong places and now God is doing some miraculous things in my life.” Velonda, Website

STRENGTHENED

“I just started listening/watching and I’m already feeling strengthened, encouraged, helped and free! I’ve listened to this video twice today!” Jovan, Instagram

INSTANT PEACE

“You talked about being in situations and saying "There is a lifting up!" Lately the circumstances are trying to speak louder and I keep casting them down, however, I find that my mood is instantaneously lifted when I calmly say, "There is a lifting up!" It brings instant peace and let's me focus on speaking God's promises. Thank you so much for your ministry.” Jenn, Instagram

SHARE THE SHOW

“I discovered your broadcast this past year and was immediately captivated by the style of your show! The way that you incorporate images of God's beautiful creation as a backdrop to the Scriptures is so wonderful! The first show that I tuned in to was filmed in Hawaii & you were on the subject of resisting fear. There was an instant peace that filled my spirit and I remember immediately thinking that I wanted to share your show with everyone I knew. Not only because of the unique style of filming, but most importantly, the fact that you saturate each show with Scriptures and not just your own opinion.” Mary, OH, Website

Glory to God! We rejoice with you in what the Lord is doing in your life and how he has used On The Road To Freedom. Be encouraged by these testimonies that as you give at the start of this year, your financial seed is going into good soil that is producing 30, 60 and 100 fold return! (Mark 4) Please continue to send us your praise reports at www.mylon.org. When we hear what the Lord has done for you, it proves again Philippians 1:6, “And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.” We have great expectation that in 2020, your praise reports of the Goodness of God are going to astonish and amaze!!

We Love You,

Mylon and Christi

P.S. You can help us share the Gospel by telling your family and friends about On The Road To Freedom or you can be a social media evangelist by liking and sharing our posts. Thank you again for all you give to increase the kingdom of God in the earth! It is our privilege to stand in agreement with you for God’s best.

December Love E-Letter 2019

December Love E-Letter 2019

Dear Partner,

 HOW TO REMAIN AT REST

Merry Christmas! It’s the most wonderful time of the year! But for many of us this holiday season is also one of the craziest times of the year. Last month we discussed the importance of entering into God’s rest but with all of the festive preparations, it’s important that we don’t let go of the rest that we have entered into! You may be thinking,

Is it possible to remain at rest during all the “hustle and bustle” of the season?

Yes! Rest only comes from absolute trust in God’s power not our ability or works! As long as we keep trying to “fix it”, we will never be at rest. Hebrews 4:9-10 explains, “There remains therefore a rest for the people of God. For he who has entered His rest has himself also ceased from his works as God did from His.” The Amplified version says when we enter the rest we have “ceased from the weariness and pain of human labor.” WooHoo, I’ll take it! How about you?

In fact, the only effort and labor we are instructed to do, is to REMAIN at rest!! Hebrews 4:11 teaches, “Let us therefore be zealous and exert ourselves and strive diligently to enter that rest [of God, to know and experience it for ourselves]…” It will require discipline to learn and experience for ourselves the true Sabbath rest of God when we are surrounded by chaos. But Praise God, He gives us the steps for remaining at rest. It begins in Hebrews 4:12: “For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” NKJV

Did you notice we go from striving to enter the rest in verse 11 directly into the power of the spoken word of God in verse 12? This is how you enter the rest and stay at rest- keep speaking The Word and His promises over your life! The Word is always effective! This is why we can rest: we LET THE WORD DO THE WORK!

Once we declare The Word by faith, Hebrews 4:14 reminds us that because Jesus is our High Priest, “…let us hold fast to our confession.” Our part: is to keep speaking His Word, not our concerns, worries or fears. We encourage you to continue to hold fast to the Word because The Word is working! Maybe you are thinking that because of your circumstances, this is just too hard. But Jesus understands. Verse 15 explains that He has sympathy and compassion for us, for He “has been tempted in every respect as we are, yet without sinning.” Jesus is FOR us! He is interceding on our behalf at the right hand of The Father. (Romans 8:34) Therefore, verse 16 says that when we need help, “Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” We need to be bold in receiving God’s grace to help us in time of need!

Between November’s letter and this month’s letter, we recognize a step-by-step process from God of how to enter His rest and remain at rest: 1) Everyday have ears to hear. 2) Do not harden your heart. 3) Choose absolute trust 4) By joining your faith with the Word you hear. 5) His Word will do the work when you speak the Word 6) Because Jesus is the High Priest of our confession- So hold fast! 7) If you need help, draw near to the throne of Grace!

We are determined more than ever to enter God’s rest. We are currently fasting, praying and persevering to enter in. As our partner, we are praying for you the same. Be encouraged that when you are a giver, one of the areas you can assuredly remain at rest, is in your finances. Be bold in declaring God’s promises of abundance over your seed. The Word is working! Please know we thank God for the precious gift you are to our lives. We pray you have the most restful and peaceful Christmas yet!

       We Truly Love You,

       Mylon & Christi

P.S. Because you generously give of your faith filled prayers and finances, we are able to share this message of rest to the world through our TV ministry, On The Road To Freedom. Please let us know if the show has been a blessing to you at www.mylon.org. Also, when you are selecting gifts this Christmas, remember that The Word makes the perfect gift. All of our anointed books, teaching (available in CD or MP3) and music resources are available on our website.

HOW TO ENTER GOD’S REST

Dear Partner,

Happy Thanksgiving! We so enjoy this holiday season every year. Especially this month when we are reminded to be thankful. We have had many challenges this year but we are truly grateful that because of the faithfulness of our God, we have had many more victories! In the midst of those challenges though, The Lord began to teach us on entering His rest.

Is it possible to have rest in the midst of the hardest challenges you ever faced? The answer is yes! God has outlined a step-by-step process in His Word of how to enter in. Let’s look at that in Hebrews Chapters 3 and 4.

WE MUST HAVE EARS TO HEAR! Four times in this passage of teaching on REST, we are instructed: “TODAY, if you will hear His voice, Do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion.” (Hebrews 3:15) Each day we wake up is…TODAY. This lets us know that we can hear the voice of the Lord everyday IF we choose to listen for His leading. This means we purposefully take time everyday to hear the Word in prayer, in teaching, in studying. Please understand that hearing the voice of the Lord is intentional. Then, when we hear the voice of the Lord, our instructions are:

DO NOT HARDEN YOUR HEART! How do we hear His voice and not harden our hearts? We must decide ahead of time that we will receive! Proverbs 19:20 teaches us, “Hear counsel, receive instruction and accept correction; that you may be wise in the time to come.” When we receive the instruction and counsel of God in His Word, even when it means correction, we are choosing obedience. Then God promises that we’ll have wisdom for what’s ahead; the wisdom we need to make wise choices that protect and bless us. But we won’t make those changes if we don’t:

CHOOSE to ABSOLUTELY TRUST GOD! Hebrews 3:18-19 explains that the children of Israel could not enter into the Promise Land because of unbelief: “And to whom did He swear that they would not enter His rest, but to those who did not obey? So, we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.” When we hear God’s Word and don’t obey, according to God it is unbelief. If we don’t trust God, we will never be able to receive His rest. But we can make the wise choice today to trust God! Hebrews 4:1 says, “THEREFORE, WHILE the promise of entering His rest still holds and is offered [today]...”

No matter what choices you made yesterday, you can make the right choice today!

Finally, every time we come in contact with the Word, we JOIN OUR FAITH WITH THE WORD WE HEAR! Hebrews 4:2 AMPC instructs us, “For indeed we have had the glad tidings…proclaimed to us just as truly as they [the Israelites of old]; but the message they heard did NOT benefit them, because it was not mixed with FAITH (with the leaning of the entire personality on God in absolute trust and confidence in His power, wisdom, and goodness) by those who heard it…” We must choose to absolutely TRUST God in 3 things: His power - NOT our ability. His Wisdom – NOT our intellect. His goodness – NOT our works. Remember, the Promise Land was where the Lord was trying to get the Israelites! For us, this means when we trust Him and His promises, THIS is the place of REST!

What if you’re not quite ready to dive in? Well, the rest of Hebrews 4:2 explains, “…neither were they united in faith with the ones [Joshua and Caleb] who heard (did believe).” If you’re still growing in the area of faith, at least agree with those who are in faith by choosing to stay in agreement with either us or your pastors, spiritual leaders, etc. When we make the ultimate choice to absolutely trust God, Hebrews 4:3 confirms we will enjoy the rest of God: For we who have BELIEVED do enter that REST…”

When you joined TEAM MYLON, you received our agreement in prayer! We can be those in your life who do believe and stand with you for the promises of God to be fulfilled! Please let us know your prayer requests at www.mylon.org. Be encouraged that your giving to help us share the Love of God around the world, is an act of faith that pleases God.

As you give in faith this month, be assured of God’s promises to you. You can trust and REST in Luke 6:38, “Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.” Glory to God, we are entering His Rest!

             We Love You,

            Mylon & Christi

P.S. THANK YOU with all our heart for your faith filled agreement with us through your prayers and financial support! We receive testimonies daily of how “On The Road To Freedom” is reaching the nations! People all over the world are being set free from bondage of fear, addiction and depression because you gave. Your eternal reward will be great!

FREEDOM FROM INSECURITY

Dear Partner,

Recently, we watched a touching movie where a poor man from the wrong part of town was suddenly backed by a billionaire. It was astonishing to see the tremendous freedom and restoration it brought to his life and family. It got me thinking,

How would you act if a billionaire was backing you?

Talk about confidence! I would stop worrying, analyzing and trying to figure out HOW my prayers were going to be answered. Not only would I start Dreaming BIG but I also would be stepping out and pursuing those dreams. Please let me remind you that we have the Creator of the Universe backing us and He owns it all! I Corinthians 10:26 says, “For the [whole] earth is the Lord's and everything that is in it.” When we know who we are IN CHRIST and what we have been given IN HIM, we will be free from any insecurity! Because of the precious blood of Jesus, the promises of God are given freely by His grace but we receive them through faith. (Ephesians 2:8) Our part is to simply believe.

WE HAVE AN INHERITANCE! Growing up, I used to imagine how it would be to suddenly inherit millions of dollars and live like Richie Rich in the comic books. But we don’t have to daydream about it, the truth is that when we gave our lives to Jesus, we inherited what Jesus did! We are joint heirs with Jesus. Romans 8:16-17 says, “The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ…” II Peter 1:3 says that “His divine power has given to us ALL things that pertain to life and godliness…” We have a rich inheritance.

WE ARE CHOSEN! Ephesians 1:3-6 says, “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with EVERY spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, just as He CHOSE us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.” No matter our past or ancestry, when we chose Jesus as our Lord and Savior, God adopted us into His family. We have available to us EVERY spiritual blessing. No more insecurity or low self-esteem: we are chosen, adopted and accepted.

WE ARE LOVED! John 3:16 “For God SO LOVED the world that He GAVE His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” Because of God’s great love toward us, He gave us Jesus. His Love is what causes us to overcome in this life. Romans 8:37 says, “Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who LOVED us.” Verse 38-39 further explains that NOTHING “shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Guaranteed victory on this earth through the Love of God, now that’s security!

Please let us know how we can pray for you at www.mylon.org. We are ready to join our faith with yours! As you sow your precious seed this month, rejoice knowing that you have a rich inheritance, you are chosen and you are loved! Just as Paul said to those in Philippians 4:19 who sent an offering to his aid, we pray this same promise over you: “And my God will liberally supply (fill to the full) your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus!”

We love you and call you blessed,

Mylon & Christi

P.S.  You are a blessing! Your seed each month, is helping us to spread this message of freedom through “On The Road To Freedom” TV ministry. We just received a report of God’s favor with another ministry in Sweden and they have now enabled our broadcast to be aired with Swedish subtitles. Thank you Jesus and thank you for helping us to reach the nations with the Love of God!

September Love E-Letter 2019

September Love E-Letter 2019

WHAT’S YOUR EXCUSE?

Dear Partner,

Jesus is coming soon! It’s time to step out and do what God has called us to do. Our TV ministry, “On The Road To Freedom,” is a perfect example of us stepping out in faith to do the will of God when we had plenty of excuses. We have all felt unworthy or insecure at times, wondering if we really can be all God has called us to be. I Corinthians 1:27 NLT says, “God chose things the world considers foolish in order to shame those who think they are wise…” God uses ordinary people to do extraordinary things! For example:

Jacob was cheater. David had an affair. Noah got drunk. Paul was a murderer. Jonah ran from God. Miriam was a gossip. Sarah was impatient. Mary was a worrier. Thomas was a doubter. Gideon was a coward. Moses stuttered. Zakeus was short. Abraham was old. Lazarus was dead.

So, what’s your excuse? In these ordinary people’s lives, God showed up and proved He is God and NOTHING is too difficult for Him! Maybe you have decided, “I can’t do it!” Gideon thought the same thing. He was a foolish choice from the world’s point of view but he found out all he needed was a Word from God. He was in hiding when in Judges 6:12-16 an angel appeared to him and said, “The LORD is with you, you mighty man of valor!...Go in this might of yours, and you shall save Israel…Have I not sent you?” Gideon replied, “O my Lord, how can I save Israel? Indeed my clan is the weakest in Manasseh, and I am the least in my father’s house.” Gideon’s first response was, “I can’t do it.” And the LORD said to him, “Surely I will be with you, and you shall defeat the Midianites as one man.” Whatever God has called us to do, all we need to know is that God is with us. For we “can do ALL things through Christ Who gives us strength!” (Philippians 4:13)

Another popular excuse is, “I’m too old!” Abraham & Sarah were way past the age of child bearing. So believing for a baby was absolutely FOOLISH to the world! Romans 4:17-22 says that Abraham, “…contrary to hope, in hope believed, so that he became the father of many nations…And not being weak in faith, he did not consider his own body, already dead (since he was about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah’s womb. He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform.” Against all odds, Abraham chose to believe God and he saw the fulfillment of God’s promise.

Another example of wrong thinking is that it’s just too late! In John 11:25-27, we read the story of Jesus raising his friend, Lazarus from the dead. I’m sure we can agree that being dead is as late as it gets! It was foolishness to the world when Jesus said to Martha, the sister of Lazarus, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?” Martha responded in faith. She said to Him, “Yes, Lord, I believe that You are the Christ, the Son of God, who is to come into the world.” Did you notice that her faith was required in order for Jesus to perform this miracle? In verse 43 Jesus cried with a loud voice, “Lazarus, Come forth!” If you are in a marriage or a job that is dead with no vision or dreams, Jesus is ready to do a miracle for you. Our part is to stop the excuses and simply BELIEVE!

Mark 11:24 “Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.” Prayer is NOT begging God, “Please, Please” or “I need” “I want” or “Give me.” God has already made promises in His Word that are “Yes and Amen.” We lay hold of those promises by faith when we pray. Say with me right now, “I believe I receive when I pray the strength, wisdom and favor I need to DO the will of the Lord! I can do ALL things through Christ Who strengthens me. It is never too late for my God because I serve a God Who raises the dead!”

Praise the Lord, we would love the opportunity to encourage you in person. Please check our itinerary for when we will be in your area at www.mylon.org. On our site, you can also get Mylon’s BRAND NEW teaching, “Absolute Faith.” We believe it will strengthen your faith to step out and do the will of God. It is obedience and trust in God’s Word, that causes you to be a cheerful giver. So as you give your holy seed this month, please know that we are standing with you that “all of your needs shall be met according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus!” (Phil. 4:19) No more excuses, ALL things are possible when we believe!

   We Love you,

   Mylon & Christi Le Fevre

P.S.  THANK YOU for your faithfulness to support the Gospel going around the world. We are reaching the nations for Jesus and we could not do this without your help. It is by God’s design that we need each other. We are extremely grateful, because of your faithful support, we are on this faith journey together!

WHAT ARE YOU SEEKING?

Dear Friend,

“But seek FIRST the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and ALL these things shall be added to you.” Matthew 6:33 NKJV

Recently, an acquaintance was telling me about going to church on Easter. When I asked her what she learned from the service, she could not even tell me why we celebrate Easter; He is Risen! Now she could tell me all about the Easter egg hunt, what they had for lunch, and the pretty clothes everyone wore. But why after sitting through the whole service did she not hear the Word that was preached? The answer is, you have to SEEK to FIND!

Seek is defined as “to ask for His favor, direction or assistance. To endeavor to find or understand.” Another meaning is “Inquiring for and of Him, craving Him as your soul’s FIRST necessity.” Jeremiah 29:11-13 confirms that God has a great plan for our lives and He will reveal it IF we choose to seek Him with ALL our hearts, we will find Him. The world pressures us to seek things (cars, houses, clothes) to seek success, power and money. Philippians 2:20-21 instructs us not to be like others who only seek to advance their own interests, but we should be seeking to advance the interests of Lord Jesus Christ. Paul even acknowledged in these verses that it is rare to find someone who doesn’t have their own agenda! We need to ask ourselves- Are we only seeking each day to advance our own interests? The culture of the day is a total preoccupation with self. But in God’s kingdom, Love prefers others.

In II Chronicles Chapter 15 NKJV, we see a perfect example of the reward in seeking The Lord:

(2) “Hear me, Asa, and all Judah and Benjamin. The LORD is with you while you are with Him. If you seek HIM, He will be found by you; but if you forsake Him, He will forsake you.” We need to ask ourselves, what are we daily seeking? Are we seeking HIM?
(4) “…when in their trouble they turned to the LORD God of Israel, and sought HIM, He was found by them.” IF you seek Him, He guarantees you won’t ever waste your time. You WILL find Him!
(12) “Then they entered into a covenant to seek the LORD God of their fathers with all their heart and with all their soul.” This is my favorite! They entered a holy covenant with the Lord to seek HIM with all their heart and soul, with all of their being! When we received this revelation, we took communion that day and entered covenant with The Lord. We encourage you to do the same.
(14) “Then they took an oath before the LORD with a loud voice, with shouting and trumpets and rams’ horns. And all Judah rejoiced at the oath, for they had sworn with all their heart and sought HIM with all their soul.” After they rejoiced over the promise they had made to the Lord, here was their exceedingly great reward:
(15) “…and He was found by them, and the LORD gave them rest all around.” When they made the commitment to put God first in every part of their lives, He made their enemies to be at peace with them. Anyone looking for perfect peace today? Here’s the key: SEEK HIM FIRST!

We don’t just seek one time. Matthew 7:7-8 says, “Keep on asking and it will be given you; KEEP ON seeking and you will find; keep on knocking and [the door] will be opened to you. For everyone who keeps on asking receives; and he who keeps on seeking finds; and to him who keeps on knocking, [the door] will be opened.” IF you seek and keep seeking, you will find. What will you find? Let me ask you, what do you need? Because WHATEVER you need, it is ALL found IN HIM- True Love, Perfect Peace, Sweet Joy, Wisdom, Direction, Uncommon Favor, the truth that sets you free and free indeed!

In Isaiah 64:1 NLT, The Lord expresses His Father’s heart towards us. “The Lord says, “I was ready to respond, but no one asked for help. I was ready to be found, but no one was looking for me. I said, ‘Here I am, here I am!’ to a nation that did not call on my name.” Whatever you need today, seek The Lord. Take the time to call on His name, He is ready to help!

As you give your precious seed this month, please be encouraged that by putting Him first in your finances, He promised to ADD all the things unto you that the world is frantically trying to get. Remember, this is a new season. 2019 is our year of ABUNDANT HARVEST! Keep speaking this declaration of faith over your seed calling in your harvest. Don’t forget to let us know your praise reports at testimony@mylon.org when your too much, over the top, doing your happy dance harvest comes in! We love you and we are…

        Seeking Him First,

        Mylon & Christi Le Fevre

P.S. Please join us in seeking The Lord at a church service near you. You can check out our itinerary www.mylon.org. Don’t forget all the free resources available at the site. Your giving makes that possible. Thank you. We are reaching the nations with the Love of God!

June Love E-Letter 2019

June Love E-Letter 2019

TRUE FRIENDSHIP

Dear Friend,

We are better together! God never intended for us to live this life of faith alone. Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 explains, “Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, one will lift up his companion. But woe to him who is alone when he falls, for he has no one to help him up.” We need each other. It is never wise to be a Lone Ranger! Christi and I are so grateful for the faith-filled friends He has given us through the years. We recognize that we need their help: their loving support, encouragement and wise counsel.

True friends give you GODLY COUNSEL (Ps. 1:1) based on the Word of God, not just intellectual opinion. Proverbs 27:9 says, “Oil and perfume rejoice the heart; so does the sweetness of a friend's counsel that comes from the heart.”

True friends will tell you The TRUTH (The Word of God) even if it hurts your feelings! Proverbs 27:17 “As iron sharpens iron, so a friend sharpens a friend.” True friends sharpen each other, which means we challenge each other to come up higher! We hold each other accountable to the Word. There is no such thing as “Speak your truth” or “Own your truth,” Truth is NOT relative. True friends tell each other THE TRUTH!

True friends are LOYAL. Proverbs 27:10 says, “Never abandon a friend.” Proverbs 17:17 confirms, “A friend loves at ALL times and is born, as is a brother, for adversity.” The NLT version says, “A friend is always loyal.” A true friend remains loyal by not walking away when times are adverse or hard. True Love is NOT a feeling. LOVE IS A COMMITMENT. God IS LOVE!

True friends PREFER one another. John 15:13 Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends. A true friend will lay down their desires and dreams to help a friend in need. This is COVENANT love.

True friends are FAITHFUL to their covenant with God and each other. God is a COVENANT God. Proverbs 20:6 says, Many claim to have unfailing love, but a faithful person who can find?” The Word says it is RARE to find a truly faithful person. This is so true in our culture today! Faithfulness is not valued because “Self” has been elevated to first place- “Do whatever feels right.” “You deserve it.” For example, ninety-three million selfies are posted each day on IG! This obsession with self is in direct opposition to God’s character of faithfulness.

True friends KEEP THEIR WORD. Psalm 15:1, 4 says, “Who may worship in your sanctuary, Lord? Who may enter your presence…those who HONOR the faithful followers of the Lord, and keep their promises even when it hurts. A faithful friend keeps his/her word even when there is sacrifice required. James 5:12 confirms this saying, But above all [things], my brethren, do not swear…but let your yes be yes, and your no be no, so that you may not sin and fall under condemnation.” Let’s CHOOSE to be true friends NOT defined by current culture but by God’s Word. Let’s decide to be encouragers and covenant keepers who challenge each other to come up higher in LOVE. If you need godly friends, we encourage you to believe God for His best for “He who walks with the wise will himself become wise.” (Prov. 13:20) And then just “Be friendly.”

As you faithfully give your generous seed this month, be excited knowing that when you choose to be faithful to God and His Word Proverbs 28:20 says, “A faithful man/woman will ABOUND with BLESSINGS!” Get ready, this is your year of ABUNDANT HARVEST!!

April Love E-Letter 2019

April Love E-Letter 2019

FREEDOM FROM DECEPTION

Dear Partner,

We are receiving powerful testimonies daily of how The Lord is setting people free through revelation of The Word they are hearing from “On the Road to Freedom.” Christi and I “have no greater JOY than to hear that you are living your lives in THE TRUTH!” (3 John 1:4) We rejoice in your breakthroughs, answered prayers and dreams coming true as you DO the Word you HEAR! James 1:22-25 explains this is how THE BLESSING of the Lord manifests:

“But BE DOERS of the WORD, and not hearers only, DECEIVING YOURSELVES. For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a DOER of the work, this one will be BLESSED in what he DOES.

Please notice in verse 22, when we CHOOSE not to do or obey The Word we hear, we deceive ourselves! Deceived is defined as “led into error, cheated.” How horrible to live a life of deception; believing we are doing the will of God when in fact we are doing our own will. We can quote all kinds of scripture and tell others what the Word says for them to DO but if we don’t OBEY the Word we are quoting, we are deceived. The result is that we will be cheated out of God’s best. Verse 23 explains that when we read The Word we are to compare ourselves (our behavior) to it, like looking in a mirror. So unless we have arrived at Christ-like perfection (Rom. 8:29), every time we look into The Word we should be challenged to change and come up higher!

Please understand that our salvation/righteousness is NOT based on what we DO but our Reward/Blessing is! If Christi and I are not experiencing the BLESSING of The Lord in an area of our lives, the first question we always ask the Lord, “Is there an area where we are not DOING the Word?” If we are not experiencing blessing in our finances, what does the Word say we are to DO about money? If we are not enjoying the BLESSING of divine health, what does the Word say we are to DO about sickness & disease? If we are not enjoying the Blessing of The Lord in our marriage, what does the Word say we are to DO in covenant relationships?

Please understand: We can pray and intercede. We can speak in tongues. We can fast for days. We can run around the church. We can dance until we drop. BUT if we don’t DO The Word we hear - we will not be BLESSED. Many times, Christi and I have missed it and God is gracious and merciful to forgive us when we repent. But we would be falling short in our teaching if we did not tell you the truth that disobedience LIMITS His blessing in our life. The good news is now when He shows us an area of adjustment, we get excited because we realize there is a blessing on the other side of our obedience!

Choosing to be obedient to the Word will require HUMILITY. If in any way we think “I got this,” we will open the door to deception. Recently we had one of the largest breakthroughs this ministry has ever had, but it came AFTER the Holy Spirit led us in a time of prayer and repentance. He corrected us and revealed to Christi and me that we had been talking too much about the problem. It was time to fill our mouths with the answer! Which is His Word. We immediately repented, and within a matter of hours the breakthrough came!

James 4:6 says, “God opposes the proud but GIVES GRACE (FAVOR) to the HUMBLE!” Please let me encourage you to humble yourself and ask The Lord, “Is there any area where I am not doing the Word?” When we are quick to repent, “He is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from ALL righteousness.” (1 John 1:9) Repentance is a precious gift that puts us right back into a position of Blessing!

Be encouraged that the financial seed you faithfully sow each month is reaching the nations! We will soon share some very exciting news! God is good and He is proving His goodness to us all every day. When you choose to obey and become a giver then “it shall be given to you, pressed down, shaken together and running over shall men give back to you!” (Luke 6:38) Now, THAT’S living the BLESSED LIFE - daily watching God do amazing things for you!

We Love you and call you blessed!
